Discover the strange evolutions of bizarre creatures and beware the savage amazons on the alien planet Nemesis. Contains eleven ferocious stories in the jungle wilds of the planet Nemesis.
Background to the creatures on the planet Nemesis.
The humanids - humanlike animals - are the most successful lifeforms on the planet Nemesis. Their diverse species have populated the entire planet and adapted to every type of environment. Ever adapting and evolving, new species of humanids are constantly appearing. There is considerable controversy over the origin of these fantastic creatures - are they animals that evolved towards a humanlike form or humans that are regressing, de-evolving?
One theory has it that they all descended from small, peculiar, manlike creatures known as scurriers; another, that they are the brutish, subhuman descendants of Nemesis' human populations, whose once prosperous civilisations collapsed after the cataclysmic annihilation of the planet's third and smallest moon.
Perhaps the answer lies partially in both theories. But the humanids neither know or care for facts and theories, they are busy in their daily life and death struggle for survival which is as old as time itself in their untainted and untamed ALIEN EDEN.
