This centenary edition of the English author Lewis Carroll's (1832-1898) 'Alice in Wonderland' (originally published in 1865) features beautiful black-and-white illustrations by Hume Henderson. Famously, Henderson's Alice illustrations feature her in a 1920s flapper-style bob. There are many spectacular illustrations throughout the book, and the cover is especially wonderful. The back cover features a mid-century Nestle's chocolate advertisement. This edition would be a great addition to the library of any collector of the Alice in Wonderland series, or those with an interest in twentieth-century illustration.Book condition: The book is in fair condition, all pages are intact. There is quite.
