Navy Blue boards with gilt blocked titles to spine, 250 x 210 mm approx. Illustrated end papers, vi + 37 pp. Illustrated in colour. Postscript by Paul Jennings. First Edition 1978. The copy offered of the fantasy stamp book designed and published to celebrate the centenary of the publication of Alice in Wonderland in the absence of Royal Mail marking the occasion is inscribed and Signed by King in ink to the half title page. Loosely laid in is a first day cover of the "Wonderland" Nine pence stamp with the post mark "Posted in advance for delivery the day before yesterday". King seems to have inspired a new collecting area for philatelists - check out cinderellastampsforum for further details.
