Paperback. What if the tragic loss of your twin brother triggers the most fantastical adventure of your life? Where reality becomes fantasy in a hidden world of sacred caves, secret forests, and an underground world filled with magical creatures and ancient beings. It's a mystical place where danger lurks in the shadows. In the spring of 1985, living in a small town, Alice approaches her 16th birthday. Her life takes a dramatic turn. While taking photos in the Secret Forest, a giant Dogmantis attacks her, leaving her with a large tattoo of a Celtic cross on her leg. A mark that signals the beginning of a dangerous quest that she will go on with her best friend Josh and the blue ghost. This is her destiny. This predetermined quest orchestrated by The Ancients is a race to save humanity. Gaia, mother earth is frozen and hidden deep below earth's surface, thanks to her evil brother. They will explore the most sacred caves, armed with magic, avoiding threats that lurk in earth's core, where danger and mystical creatures lurk at every turn. It becomes clear the earth is failing; time is falling short. Unless they fill the cross with the hidden gemstones, their quest is over. Humanity will perish. The caves they explore are magical, thriving worlds, hidden from man. They meet the Ancient Forest Gnomes that help them find Andrea's box, left by Gaia's father, that holds the key to regenerating the earth and its healthy future for humanity. Our adventure awaits!
