"A dark, offensive, and addictive psychological thriller that will leave you wanting more!"
"A f*cked up masterpiece that combines the best parts of Gone Girl, YOU and Verity"
Experience the twisted and captivating world of 'Alexa's Obsession', a psychological thriller that delves into the dark desires of one woman's obsession with her deceased husband. A true masterpiece that combines the gripping suspense of 'Gone Girl', the chilling unpredictability of 'YOU', and the twisted passion of 'Verity'.
Follow the story of Alexa and Francis, two wealthy executives who seem to have it all, except for the one thing they both desperately desire - a child. When tragedy strikes and Francis passes away, Alexa finds hope in the form of Vick Miller, a man who bears a striking resemblance to her husband. She offers him a handsome sum to donate his genes and help create a child in Francis' image, but as the offers grow more tempting, Vick's marriage begins to unravel.
As Alexa's obsession intensifies, Vick remains unaware of her increasingly disturbing fixation on him. With her wealth, power, and beauty, Alexa will stop at nothing to achieve her ultimate goal - a child that bears the likeness of her beloved husband. Will Vick succumb to Alexa's twisted desires, or will he be able to escape the clutches of her obsession before it's too late?

“Alex Six by Vince Taplin is a wild ride! It was unputdownable – the suspense kept me so hooked that I finished it in a day… This book was full or twists and turns! "I read this novel in two sittings. It was fast paced and twisted. Reminded me a bit of the Netflix series YOU. ...I must say this novel ended just as it should. The ending was perfect. If you love a good suspense thriller, definitely download this one. It does not disappoint."
- Tammy - Reviewer for Books and Port Keys
"This book was such a wild ride. It built up suspense so much that I couldn't and didn't want to put it down until I hit the last page. I didn't expect to read this in one night! Every time I thought the characters couldn't be that crazy, they were. Every time something insane happened, I didn't think it could be topped, then it was! This book was brilliantly thought out, all the way up to the very end. ...This author is definitely one to watch to see what he writes next. The writing style was excellent. (Written in) Short, choppy sentences that were conversational style. Also there were some humorous lines in the story that I so appreciated being there. All in all, this was a crazy, unpredictable thriller you wont be able to put down."
