Using his Egg, Albert, the endangered son of a Same-Sex male couple from Ki, will be reborn on Earth. The year is 2025, after the fundamentalist White Christian Party has taken over a divided America. Traveling through a nation split among fundamentalist strongholds and "gay reserves," Albert will find the Earth mate who will claim his heart - and allow him to return to Ki and reclaim leadership of the planet. Mesmerizing, erotic, and truthful, Albert is the story of two men - and two worlds - finally merging in these amazing chronicles of The Book Of Man. There, as the gay Everyman at the crossroads of life, death, and identity, Albert will tell his own story and define the ultimate tribe from which he comes.

From the Author
The third book in the "Mirage" trilogy, deals with Albert, the shy, soulful son of Greeland and Enkidu, who after Enkidu's death, against his wishes, has become ruler of Ki. A plot to kill him has been hatched by Woosh, the evil head of a tribe of Blue Monkeys, and Anvil, a renegade Off-Sexer closet case. Albert will be forced to use his third Egg to go to Earth. There his Egg will be implanted in the womb of Sandy, a lesbian woman living in Provincetown in the year 2025, when the White Christian Party has taken over America and divided the country between gay reserves and Christian territories. Growing from infancy to adult manhood in four years, Albert will set off from Provincetown with Lee, his Earth father (and secret lover!) to go to San Francisco. In California he will meet Vincent, the mate he must return to Ki with, in order to reclaim his rulership of the planet and survive. New York's Men Style Magazine said about "Albert": "Brass gives us a book where lesser writers only have a premise." Besides being sexy and action packed, Albert has a wonderfully wicked sense of humor, and never takes himself or his situation, as ruler of small, crazy planet seriously. This book has a way of merging sexuality—in all of its various forms—and spirituality in a way rarely experienced in gay fiction.
