The accompanying companion website--with a single-use code included with each new book--offers fully integrated videos and all audio for vocabulary and exercises to use alongside the text.Incorporating all types of authentic texts and video, the book touches on important global topics and perspectives: literature; women's issues and feminism; folklore in contemporary culture; Arab-Islamic institutions; the future of Arab youth; the Arabic language; Islam and politics; globalization's impact on society; citizenship, pluralism, and society; and environmental issues.
