1940. No Edition Stated. 87 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white photographs and diagrams throughout. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed, but text and images are clear. Binding is slightly shaky, but all pages remain attached. Deckled edges. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine and edges are moderately sunned, with visible crushing and noticeable splitting to ends. Hardback. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Navy blue cloth. Pictorial jacket. 280 x 210 mm. 87 leaves + 22 pages of adverts & preliminaries. Includes 44 fold-out leaves. Copiously illustrated with 3-view scale drawings and b&w photographs. Jacket is grubby, torn and chipped, with large areas of loss in part reinforced with white paper.
