The author argues that Evangelists are a necessary and integral part of the Church's mission, and that their work is distinct from that of Pastors. The book delves into the history of Evangelists in the early Church and in the Reformation, and examines the ways in which Evangelists can effectively reach out to the unchurched. The author emphasizes the importance of personal contact and relationship-building in evangelism, and provides practical guidance for those who wish to engage in this work. The book is a valuable resource for anyone who is interested in evangelism, and provides a compelling vision for how the Episcopal Church can more effectively reach out to the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. …
