A Practical Guide to Intelligent Development, Autonomous Workflows, and Multi-Agent Systems
What if your software could plan tasks, write code, review pull requests, fix bugs, run tests, deploy applications, and monitor production systems with minimal human intervention? What if you could build intelligent AI agents that work like experienced software engineers, collaborating to solve complex problems while you focus on innovation instead of repetitive tasks? As AI rapidly transforms software development, developers and engineering teams who understand agentic systems will be better prepared for the future of modern software engineering.
Agentic AI for Software Engineering is a practical, hands-on guide that teaches you how to design, build, and deploy intelligent AI agents capable of automating real software engineering workflows. Whether you're a software developer, AI engineer, DevOps professional, solutions architect, engineering manager, or computer science student, this book provides the knowledge and practical techniques needed to build production-ready agentic applications using today's most powerful frameworks and best practices.
Inside this book, you'll learn how AI agents think, plan, reason, use tools, retain memory, collaborate with other agents, and make intelligent decisions. You'll build autonomous coding assistants, AI code reviewers, intelligent debugging systems, automated testing agents, deployment pipelines, and complete multi-agent software engineering platforms. Along the way, you'll gain practical experience with prompt engineering, memory systems, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), workflow orchestration, observability, security, governance, and enterprise deployment strategies.
Inside, you'll discover:
The foundations of Agentic AI and autonomous software engineering.
How to build intelligent AI agents with memory, reasoning, and tool calling.
Practical implementations of RAG, MCP, and multi-agent collaboration.
AI-powered code generation, code review, testing, debugging, and deployment.
Production-ready architectures, monitoring, security, and governance practices.
Real-world examples, complete code samples, and best practices for enterprise adoption.
By the time you finish this book, you'll have the confidence and practical skills to develop intelligent software engineering systems that improve productivity, reduce repetitive work, and help build modern AI-powered applications that scale.
The software engineering landscape is changing rapidly, and organizations are actively adopting AI agents to accelerate development, improve software quality, and automate complex engineering workflows. The professionals who understand how to build and manage these systems will be among the most valuable in the next generation of software development.
Start building the future of software engineering today. Get your copy of Agentic AI for Software Engineering and learn how to create intelligent AI agents that transform the way modern software is built, tested, deployed, and maintained.
