AI Agent Projects with Python: Build Practical AI Assistants, Research Agents, Automation Tools, Multi-Agent Systems and Intelligent Applications
You have learned some Python. You have tried AI APIs. Maybe you have even built a chatbot. But when it is time to build an AI agent that can actually use tools, remember information, research a topic, or complete a task, everything suddenly feels more complicated.
Which tools should you use? How do you connect an AI model to Python functions? How does an agent know what action to take next? How do you add memory, RAG, automation, or multiple agents without getting lost in confusing documentation and scattered tutorials?
AI Agent Projects with Python gives you a practical way forward. Instead of filling pages with theory, this book teaches AI agent development by helping you build working projects step by step. You start with the basic structure of an agent and gradually move toward more capable intelligent applications.
Inside, you will learn how to build a Python AI assistant, connect language models to tools, manage conversation history, create structured responses, and handle common errors. You will work with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to connect agents to external knowledge and add memory so they can preserve useful information across interactions.
As your skills grow, you will build research agents, automation agents, data analysis agents, and multi-agent systems. You will see how specialized agents can share work, manage information, and cooperate on larger tasks. You will also bring tools, retrieval, memory, application state, and user interaction together in a more complete intelligent application.
The practical examples show you what the code is doing and why it works. You will also learn important development habits that can save you from costly mistakes, including input validation, permissions, execution limits, error handling, human approval, and safe API key management. The book does not stop when your agent starts working. You will learn how to test, evaluate, secure, monitor, and prepare AI agent applications for production. Topics such as logging, tracing, failures, retries, rate limits, cost management, and reliability help you understand what it takes to move beyond a small experiment.
You do not need to be an AI researcher. Basic Python knowledge is enough to get started, and important concepts are explained as they appear. The goal is not to make you copy large blocks of code without understanding them. It is to help you develop practical skills you can reuse in your own AI projects. AI agents are quickly becoming an important part of modern software development. Do not spend months jumping between tutorials and trying to piece everything together on your own.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
