Some days go just the way we hoped. Other days, things feel hard, mistakes happen, and we don't get it right the first time.
Before You Go to Sleep: You Can Try Again is a calming bedtime story for kids about making mistakes, building confidence, and finding the courage to try again.
Through reassuring words and a warm father-and-son camping story, children are reminded that mistakes are a normal part of learning. They don't have to do everything perfectly. They can take their time, find their own way, and begin again tomorrow.
Perfect for families looking for bedtime books that build confidence and resilience, this comforting story helps children:
- Learn that mistakes are okay
- Develop resilience and a growth mindset
- Build confidence when something feels difficult
- Understand that they don't have to get everything right the first time
- Feel encouraged after failure, frustration, or disappointment
- Remember that they can try again in their own way
- Settle into bedtime feeling loved, reassured, and ready for a new day
Ideal for toddlers, preschoolers, and young children, You Can Try Again is especially meaningful for kids who are afraid of making mistakes, get frustrated when things are hard, struggle with perfectionism, or need encouragement to keep trying.
This beautifully illustrated children's book is a meaningful choice for parents searching for bedtime stories for kids, books about making mistakes, growth mindset books for kids, resilience books for children, confidence books for kids, books about perseverance, social emotional learning books, and books about trying again.
Because one hard moment doesn't define the whole day.
Tomorrow is another chance. You can try again.
A comforting bedtime book to return to night after night.
