Biography. This book is straight, clean and tight with no marks noted. Although this book is primarily a memoir, it represents a combination of professional pride with a touch of literary vanity says Dr. Bloom in his introduction. To be a brain surgeon was the idealized goal and after 6 years of hospital training and 34 years of neurosurgical practice he gasped.
