All the world loves a lover, so the saying goes. An Affair to Remember is a warm and intimate account of 43 of the world's greatest love stories - captivating tales of grand passions, charismatic personalities and extraordinary exploits. Some of these affairs shocked the world, others altered the course of history. Included in the book are the stories of Lord Byron and Lady Caroline Lamb, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, Victoria and David Beckham, Edward VIII and Mrs Simpson, Aristotle Onassis and Maria Callas, Victoria and Albert, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn, and many more. But whether their outcomes were happy or tragic, all make fascinating reading - and all were affairs to remember. 296 pages.
