Softcover with yellow and white wraps, front cover featuring illustration of Mile "Falcon" built by Phillips & Powis Aircraft Ltd. Corners, crown and foot of spine bumped, light creasing along corners, shelf wear across wraps. Small chips missing from crown and foot of spine. Staplebound but wraps have detached from the staples, separate from body of text. Pages themselves bound neatly and tightly, only very minor rusting from staples at spine. Pages clean and bright, feature black and white photography and one large fold-out map at center. Cover and title page dated May 1, 1935; no separate copyright page. Pages numbered 499 through 516, 60 separately numbered pages of advertisements. This volume comes from the Aviation collection of Prof. Chris Sterling. Sterling spent his lifetime teaching, writing, and collecting books on civil and military aviation. We are proud to house his Aviation collection, part of the extensive library which is his legacy.
