This item is printed on demand - Print on Demand Titel. Neuware -Aerodynamic Design and Optimization of Wind Turbines examines the principles and engineering methods used to analyze, design, and optimize wind turbine aerodynamic performance. The book introduces fundamental concepts of wind energy conversion, rotor aerodynamics, blade design, airflow behavior, and aerodynamic efficiency. Attention is given to the relationship between turbine geometry, operating conditions, blade characteristics, and energy extraction. The discussion covers important considerations in wind turbine design, including lift and drag, blade profiles, rotor performance, tip-speed ratio, power generation, and aerodynamic losses. Optimization concepts are presented as tools for evaluating design parameters and improving turbine performance under varying operating conditions. The book connects aerodynamic theory with practical engineering considerations in renewable energy systems, providing a technical foundation for understanding the design and performance of modern wind turbines. It is intended for students, researchers, mechanical and aerospace engineers, renewable energy professionals, and readers interested in wind energy technology, fluid mechanics, turbomachinery, aerodynamic analysis, and energy-system optimization. 146 pp. Englisch.…
