For crafters and artists (especially collage, fibre and book artists) who want to explore mixed-media materials and techniques in a series of progressive lessons that feature inspiring projects and finished works by the author and other influential artists. Adventures in Mixed Media mixes and merges paper, fibre and other mediums to show readers how to create unique and personal pieces of mixed-media art, including collages, books and boxes, three-dimensional constructions and expressive dolls. Thanks to its nature of moving freely across the boundaries of art, craft, painting and collage, mixed media collage is accessible for all levels of experience and skill.

Artist, author and teacher Jane Davies designs tableware, fabric, paper goods, stationery and other products for many prestigious manufacturers. She studied ceramics at Bennington College in Vermont and the School for American Crafts in Rochester, NY. Jane teaches workshops in collage, handmade books and other topics relating to mixed media.
