About the Author
Prof. (Dr.) Ravinder Kumar is Professor of Mechanical Engg. at Amity University, Noida, India. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honors. He did his master’s and Ph.D. from Delhi College of Engineering, University of Delhi, India. He has more than 22-year teaching experience in U.G., P.G. and Ph.D. He has published more than 70 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. His areas of interest include sustainable supply chain management, industrial digitalization, Industry 4.0, sustainable manufacturing, sustainability assessments and SCM issues in SMEs. He has published papers in journals such as Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Intelligent manufacturing, TQM Journal, Competitiveness Review, Global Journal of Flexible Systems and Management, IIMB Management Review, Benchmarking, International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing, International Journal of Business Information Systems and International Journal of Manufacturing Research. He has chaired technical sessions in conferences and reviewed articles for many SCIs and Scopus-indexed international journals of repute. He has served as Editor and Co-editor of many conference proceedings.
Assoc. Prof. Rakesh Kumar Phanden is Distinguished Academician and Researcher. His academic journey reached its pinnacle with his completion of a Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amity University, Uttar Pradesh, India, where he brings a wealth of knowledge and research insight to his role. Dr. Phanden's academic contributions extend beyond the conventional classroom setting. His active engagement with the scholarly community is evident through his participation in numerous conference technical sessions and his role as Reviewer for various esteemed SCIs and Scopus-indexed international journals. Notably, he has showcased his organizational prowess by playing pivotal roles in coordinating several international conferences, including ICNDME 2014, FLAME 2020, FLUTE 2021, FLUTE 2023, FLAME 2022 and FLAME 2024, serving as Organizing Secretary and Convener. He is Author and Editor of 8 books and has edited 6 special issues for Scopus and SCI-indexed journals. Additionally, his role as Editorial Board Member for several journals underscores his dedication to shaping the academic discourse. With a remarkable teaching career spanning 17 years, Dr. Phanden has left an indelible mark on the academic landscape, having imparted knowledge in private and government institutes and universities in India and abroad. His research portfolio is equally impressive, comprising over 80 papers presented at both national and international levels. Notable among these are publications in SCI journals such as the International Journal of Computer Integrated Manufacturing, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Journal of Enhanced Heat Transfer, Journal of Manufacturing Technology, The TQM and Benchmarking―an International Journal. In recognition of his scholarly contributions, Dr. Phanden received an International Travel Grant from DST, enabling collaborative research ventures in the USA and visits to prominent global destinations such as London, Singapore, Turkey, Dubai and various African countries. His global engagements reflect his unwavering dedication to advancing research and fostering academic collaboration in alignment with the vision of Amity University.
Prof.(Dr.) R.K. Tyagi completed Ph.D. from Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, Ranchi, India; and M.Tech. Indian Harcurt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur, India. His research interests are plasma, pollution, material and in the field of agriculture. He has published more than hundred research articles in peer-reviewed, SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences. Dr. Tyagi filled more than twenty patents out of which seven patents granted on his name till now. Dr. Tyagi recently got a project on topic “Study of electromagnetic and electrostatic plasma waves in planetary magnetosphere of Jupiter” from Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB). He has guided more than twenty-five projects/dissertations at UG/PG level; six students already completed their Ph.D. under his able guidance. Dr. Tyagi is Active Reviewer for various highly reputed international journals from Springer, Elsevier, Tayler and Francis and many more reputed publishers. He is Professor and Additional Head in the department of mechanical engineering, Amity University Noida, India, since 2004.
Prof. J. Ramkumar has an illustrious career spanning more than two decades in the realms of research, academia and industry. His remarkable contributions to the development of highly accurate micro/nano machining processes have played a pivotal role in shaping the cutting-edge defense systems of our time. From revolutionary metamaterials for defense technology to advanced machining processes for aerospace and missile components, such as those used in the Man Portable Anti-Tank Guided Missile (MPATGM), Prof. Ramkumar's work has left an indelible mark on the field. As Dedicated Researcher, he has harnessed his knowledge and expertise to address the needs of the less fortunate, focusing on empathy-driven studies to improve the lives of deserving individuals. Notably, he has spearheaded the implementation of assistive technologies for locomotive and visual disabilities, breaking down architectural barriers and revolutionizing the Agritech sector. Since joining IIT Kanpur in 2003, Prof. Ramkumar's research journey has been characterized by a harmonious fusion of teaching and learning practices, aiming to produce innovative solutions that enhance product efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. His brainchild projects, including the Imagineering Lab, Tinkering Lab, Maker's space, MedTech Lab and RuTAG (Rural Technology Action Group) at IIT Kanpur, have created an ecosystem catering to the needs of students, scholars, faculties and projects across the nation. Beyond his pioneering work, Prof. Ramkumar has been Inspiring Mentor, nurturing over 15 successful start-ups throughout the country, each of which has introduced groundbreaking products to the market. Moreover, during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, he exhibited frugal innovation by creating essential solutions like the SWASA masks and Sanjeevani (Oxygen Concentrator), blessing frontline workers and hospitals nationwide. Prof. Ramkumar's dedication to sharing knowledge has been evident through his creation of twelve MOOCs courses with a staggering 5 lakh views, reaching an international audience. He has also conducted and organized more than 100 workshops on Design Thinking, passionately propagating science and research among students, scholars, industrial practitioners and faculties. You have the right to revoke this contract within 14 days without specifying any reasons.
The revocation period is 14 days with effect from the day,

on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the products, provided you had ordered one or more products within the scope of a standard order and this/these product/products is/are delivered uniformly;

on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the last product, provided you had ordered several products within the scope of a standard order and these products are delivered separately;

on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the last part delivery or the last unit, provided you had ordered a product, which is delivered in several part deliveries or units;
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (preigu GmbH & Co. KG, Lengericher Landstr. 19, 49078 Osnabrück, Telephone number: +49 (0) 541 / 580 72 84, E-Mail address: mail@preigu.de) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, which is, however, not mandatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online by clicking on a button labelled accordingly (such as ‘Withdraw from contract' or similar) on the AbeBooks/ZVAB website. If you use this online function, you will immediately receive a confirmation of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. via email) containing information on the content of the withdrawal notice, as well as the date and time of its receipt.
In order to safeguard the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification about the exercise of the revocation right before the expiry of the revocation period.
Consequences of the revocation
If you revoke this contract, we shall repay all the payments, which we received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs, which arise from that fact that you selected a form of delivery other than the most reasonable standard delivery offered by us), immediately and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received the notification about the revocation of this contract from you. We use the same means of payment, which you had originally used during the original transaction, for this repayment unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; you will not be charged any fees owing to this repayment.
We can refuse the repayment until the products are returned to us or until you have furnished evidence that you have sent the products back to us, depending on whichever is earlier.
You must return or transfer the products to us immediately and, in any case, at the latest within 14 days with effect from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is maintained if you send the products before the expiry of the 14 day deadline.
You bear the direct costs for returning the products.
You must pay for any depreciation of the products only if this depreciation can be attributed to any handling with you that was not necessary for checking the condition, features and functionality of the products.
Criteria for exclusion or expiry
The revocation right is not available for contracts

for delivery of products, which are not prefabricated and for whose manufacturing an individual selection or stipulation by the consumer is important or which are clearly tailored to the personal requirements of the consumer;

for delivery of products, which can spoil quickly or whose use-by date would be exceeded quickly;

for delivery of alcoholic drinks, whose price was agreed at the time of concluding the contract, which however can be delivered 30 days after the conclusion of the contract at the earliest and whose current value depends on the fluctuations in the market, on which the entrepreneur has no influence;

for delivery of newspapers, periodicals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts. The revocation right expires prematurely in case of contracts

for delivery of sealed products, which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after the delivery;

for delivery of products if they have been mixed inseparably with other goods after the delivery, owing to their condition;

for delivery of sound or video recording or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after the delivery.
