Not dated, approx 1890. 52pp. Good/None. Brown decorative cloth boards with some rubbing and bumping to edges/spine, minor fraying to spine ends. Contents generally good with occasional splitting, some soiling/browning, minor creasing, some pencil marks in text, small piece missing from back endpaper. Owners inscription to reverse of ffep. 8 laid in colour facsimiles of original water colours, numerous pencil outlines and many illustrations after JMW Turner. Instructions on drawing and painting, with descriptive essays on each subject. Edward Duncan (1803-1882) was a well known engraver and water colourist. Seller Inventory # 004312
