Welcome Adventurer! Are you a purveyor of RPGs? Only ever been a player? Want to experience the mystery behind the DM’s screen? Is your current Game Master begging for a break? Or are they just the worst, and you’re sure you’ll do better?
Well, then, your quest toward greatness starts here! Join me and my council of sorcerers as we guide you on the treacherous journey to becoming a Dungeon Master!
We believe everyone has the potential to be a brilliant DM and have taken it upon ourselves to carve you a path to greatness. Whether you’re entirely new to RPGs, a veteran player who wants to try their hand at running a game, or just someone who wants to drag their friend group into the magical world of role-playing, this book has it all for you!
We scoured the realm, consulting the wisest elders the world has to offer, gathering their ancient wisdom and combining it into this accessible tome of knowledge… Elders such as Eric, who has two art degrees and nothing to show for it, Alex, who has an unhealthy obsession with doing impressions at the most inopportune moments, and Ema, a beautiful, brilliant woman, perfect in every way… aside from her decision to marry Alex.
Ascend to the rank of a Dungeon Master as you learn…
- How to Create Your Campaigns
- How to Enforce the Rules
- Basics of One-Shots
- How to Twist (but not Shout)
- How to Herd Your Players
- Improvisation Techniques
- Using Feedback as a Tool for Growth
And so much more!
If this is the knowledge you seek, be sure to acquire this guide - it’s perfect for you!
So, if you’ve ever dreamt of running a campaign but felt too intimidated to try, or if you’ve been behind a DM screen before but want to hone your craft, this is the book for you. Just remember, this is not a mere rulebook - it’s a guide for making your game enjoyable, memorable, and uniquely yours.
