Paperback. The Great Lakes Steelhead Fishery is one of the best in the world, providing year-round opportunities to catch steelhead, salmon, and brown trout on a fly. Advanced Fly Fishing for Great Lakes Steelhead is the most up-to-date book on strategy and technique, and as well as providing a foundation for all types of fly anglers, covers more advanced concepts such as how to effectively use switch and two-handed rods, swinging flies, and new fly patterns by some of the region's top tiers. In addition, Kustich covers strategy, which is perhaps the most important chapter of all, sharing his thoughts--from over thirty years of Great Lakes steelheading--on timing the run, avoiding fishing pressure, selecting a river, reading the water, developing a plan, and much more. A destinations section rounds out the book with a look at need-to-know information for top steelhead spots in Ontario, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.…
