About the Author
Beemkumar Nagappan completed his undergraduate engineering program in the domain of Mechanical Engineering from the Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), Coimbatore, India, in 2004, and then completed his post-graduation in Energy Engineering from the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Chennai, India. He received his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering for innovative research in solar thermal energy storage field from Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India, in 2018. He has more than 18 years of teaching experience at various levels and he is currently working as a Professor & Deputy Dean Research in JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru, India. He is recipient of a research grant of INR 15.20 lakhs & faculty training grant of INR 3 Lakhs from AICTE - Delhi (GoI) and he also received a research grant of INR 40 Lakhs from VGST, Government of Karnataka, India. Since 2021, he has been recognized among Stanford University’s World’s Top 2% Scientists for four consecutive years. He has published more than 125 research articles in various WoS (SCI) and Scopus indexed journals with the cumulative impact factor of 450 (as per SCI, Clarivate Analytics). He received many awards for his outstanding contribution to research and academics. His current research interests include thermal energy storage with nano- encapsulated PCM, methods to reduce NOx emission in bio- fueled CI engine, and solar- powered refrigeration systems. He is a life member in various professional bodies like the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), India.
Gloria Pignatta is Scientia Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at the Univeristy of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney, Australia. She received a PhD degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Perugia (Italy), in 2016. In the same year, she was Postdoctoral Fellow at the Inter- University Research Center on Pollution and Environment “Mauro Felli” (CIRIAF), University of Perugia (Italy). From 2017 to 2018, she worked as Postdoctoral Associate and Building and Construction Expert at the Singapore- MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART), in Singapore. Since 2018, she has been High Performance Architecture (HPA) Research Cluster expert in the School of Built Environment, Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture at UNSW Sydney. She is also Investigator at the Material and Manufacturing Institute (MMFI) at UNSW. In 2021, she was nominated City Futures Research Centre (CFRC) Fellow. She is an expert in building energy efficiency and sustainable solutions for the built environment. Her research touches on different fields, from engineering to architecture, material science, and urban climate, and aims to face the global problem of climate adaptation and mitigation, as well as social challenges, such as energy inequality. She has been actively engaged in research and contributed to the knowledge and literature with more than 60 research papers, 3 books, and numerous international conference papers. Her collaboration network touches different countries: Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Denmark, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Sweden, USA, Canada, India, and Australia.
A D Dhass received his BE, ME, and PhD degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Energy Engineering, and Solar Energy in 2005, 2009, and 2018, respectively, from Anna University, Chennai, India. Since 2020, he has been working as Assistant Professor in the Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering (IITE), Indus University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. His areas of research include solar, heat transfer, thermoelectric generators, Green Building and phase change materials.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Rarewaves.com USA, Unit 144 The Lightbox, 111 Power Road, W4 5PY, London, London, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
