Integrate molecular diagnostics and targeted therapies for personalized oncology practice
Cancer treatment is no longer one-size-fits-all. Molecular profiling, liquid biopsy, and AI-driven diagnostics now enable clinicians to match patients with therapies targeting their tumor’s unique genetic signature. Advanced Diagnostic and Therapeutic Approaches for Precision Cancer Care connects research advances with clinical applications. A team of oncology researchers examines liquid biopsy, biomarker-based diagnostics, immunotherapy, and nanotechnology-driven drug delivery to enable individualized treatment strategies.
This reference covers cancer biology fundamentals, disease progression, and therapeutic resistance alongside single-cell and multi-omics technologies, radiomics, radiogenomics, and RNA-based therapies. Topics include AI applications in diagnostic imaging, digital pathology, and combination treatment protocols. Case studies demonstrate real-world applications of gene therapy, monoclonal antibodies, and personalized surgical interventions across multiple cancer types.
Readers will also find:
- Next-generation sequencing and liquid biopsy protocols for early detection and risk assessment
- Nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems improving efficacy while reducing toxicity
- AI and machine learning applications in diagnostic imaging and digital pathology
- Multidisciplinary integration across oncology, pathology, radiology, pharmacology, and bioinformatics
- Strategies for addressing tumor heterogeneity across diverse cancer types and clinical settings
Designed for oncologists, cancer researchers, pathologists, radiologists, and advanced trainees, this reference provides the technical depth required for implementing precision medicine protocols. Advanced Diagnostic and Therapeutic Approaches for Precision Cancer Care delivers authoritative guidance on the diagnostic and therapeutic innovations shaping contemporary oncology.

About the Author
Vibhav Gautam is an Assistant Professor at the Centre of Experimental Medicine and Surgery, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. His research integrates ethnopharmacology, nanobiotechnology, and omics sciences to address cancer, focusing on bioactive compounds from fungal endophytes and targeted nanomedicine-based drug delivery systems.
Brijesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Cancer Biology & Therapeutics at the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University. He is a cancer biology researcher specializing in breast cancer initiation, progression, and metastasis. He studies inter-individual variability in breast epithelial cell pliancy, molecular subtype genesis, and chemoresistance pathways using tumor models to develop improved therapeutic approaches.
Surya Pratap Singh is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad, leading the Integrated Biophotonics Lab. Following postdoctoral research at Stanford, MIT, and the University of Eastern Finland, his work focuses on Raman and fluorescence spectroscopy for biomedical diagnosis.
Nazar Hussain is an Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University. His research explores C-glycoside synthesis, palladium-catalyzed reactions, and total synthesis of natural products with applications in drug discovery.
