Parenting has always been hard enough. In the age of the internet, it can seem overwhelming. There are too many decisions, and they change so rapidly that even well intentioned parents just can't keep up. Outgunned by the pace of change, many have simply given up. They hand their children electronic devices, and hope for the best. In Adrift in the Digital Age, Dr. Mehegan argues that this is a mistake. More than ever, today's children need guidance. Someone needs to filter the torrential flow of stimulation for this wired up generation. If parents don't do it, then who will?
