The incredible world of overseas basketball is undoubtedly a different beast, best understood and navigated by those who've experienced it. With experience comes wisdom, all of which is transparently shared by Dominique Johnson in his information-packed book, Adjusting, Adapting, and Managing Expectations of Overseas Basketball. By sharing experiences, dos and don'ts, and unforgettable stories, Dominique provides a guideline as to how to navigate your overseas basketball career. Through trial and error, playing in various countries around the world, Dominique prepares readers for what's on the horizon as he provides the answers to the "test," ensuring each student of the game does not stumble upon the roadblocks that he once faced.
Championship-winning professional basketball player and rising author, Dominique Johnson, was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in applied studies. Having traveled the world for his basketball career, playing for elite teams in Italy, Israel, and Germany, to name a few, Dominique has spent the majority of his adult life abroad. Dominique, a true family man, shares this incredible journey with his wife and daughter. His family is his pride and joy, and when they are not traveling the world for basketball, they are enjoying time with extended family.
