Paperback. Still chasing the next bet, the next win, the next chance to fix everything?Addiction to Purpose: Gambling Edition is a Christ-centered, twelve-session workbook built for anyone ready to break the cycle of gambling addiction and start walking toward the life God actually designed for them.Inside, you'll work through twelve guided sessions covering real freedom in Christ, breaking destructive patterns, changing the environments that fuel addiction, restoring relationships damaged by gambling, financial stewardship, resisting temptation, and discovering your God-given identity and purpose. Each session includes Scripture, guided prayer, and reflection questions you can work through alone or with a group.John Simmons battled a decade-long gambling addiction before finding freedom through Christ, and he wrote this book as the discipleship journey he wishes someone had handed him. It's not a clinical recovery program. It's for anyone who has tried to quit through willpower alone and needs something deeper.Your past does not define you. Your addiction is not your identity. God is still writing your story, and this book helps you write the next chapter.John Simmons is the founder of Testimony House, a ministry helping people discover and write God's sentence for their lives. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri, with his wife Megan and their five children. Still chasing the next bet, hoping it fixes everything?
