1822. [Tithes, Ireland. Returns from the Under-Mentioned Counties, &c. in Ireland, to an order of the Honourable House of Commons, dated 18th March 1822;- For, (i) An Account of the Number of all Cases tried before the several Quarter Sessions of Ireland, during five years last past; distinguishing Causes respecting Subtraction of Tithes, from other Causes, and separating those in which the Plaintiff and Defendant were respectively successful;- Viz. 1. County of Antrim. 2. County of Armagh. 3. County of Carlow. 4. County of Cavan. 5. City of Cork. 6. County of Down. 7. County of Dublin. 8. County of Fermanagh. 9. County of Galway. 10. County of Kilkenny. 11. City of Kilkenny. 12. King's County. 13. City of Limerick. 14. County of Longford. 15. County of Lowth. 16. County of Mayo. 17. County of Meath. 18. County of Monaghan. 19. County of Roscommon. 20. County of Tipperary. 21. County of Tyrone. 22. County of Waterford. 23. County of Westmeath. 24. County of Wexford. 25. County of Wicklow. Returns from the Counties of Clare, Cork, Donegal, Kerry, Kildare, Leitrim, Limerick, Longford, Queen's County, and Sligo, have not been received yet. (ii) An Account of the Number of Causes tried by citation before the Ecclesiastical Courts of Ireland; distinguishing Tithe Causes, and specifying the Highest and lowest rate for Wheat, Potatoes, and Oats, at which the Degrees of such Courts rated the same, during the Years 1815, 1816, and to the 5th of January of the present Year 1822, distinguishing each year:-Viz. 1.
