Copper engraved plates; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 588 pages; 1811 Thomas Dobson, Philadelphia. Bound in period full marbled calf with 5 raised bands over the spine; title label at spine lost and lacking. Leather weak and splitting over the front joint but cord and endpaers sound and holding. Mid crazing to lether over spine. Seven copper plate engravings, including one fold-out all present, though several show moderate foxing and spotting. Expected light toning and occasional foxing to page stock. A better preserved copy than usually seen. VG-.
