Second edition (as stated upon page 2). 23 pages plus covers. Staple-bound paperback: H 28cm x L 21.5cm. White paper covers soiled. Interior pages are clean. Binding is firm. Evidently published from a family-held manuscript - autobiography of Baptist clergyman Norvell Robertson, 1765-1855, born in Cumberland, Virginia and who married Sarah Denby (Powell) Robertson, 1770-1842, in 1791. After serving in the Virginia State Militia during the American Revolution, Norvell Robertson migrated to Georgia and arrived in Mississippi circa 1818 initially residing near Pineville but later moving north of Old Williamsburg. Robertson children and further descendants resided in the Mississippi counties of Covington, Lawrence, Smith, Carroll, Clarke, and elsewhere.
