Exam SAM's ASVAB Study Guide - Reading Skills: Reading Skill Preparation & Strategies and
Paragraph Comprehension Practice Tests for the ASVAB Test and AFQT has eight complete ASVAB
practice paragraph comprehension practice tests.
The practice exams in our study guide are in the same format as the real ASVAB Test.
There are answers and in-depth explanations for each and every question in our practice tests.
The study guide also gives tips and strategies to help students overcome the difficulties in this
strictly-timed test.
The practice tests cover the same skill areas as the actual exam, so each paragraph comprehension
practice test has questions on:
- understanding the main idea of the paragraph
- finding the best title for a passage
- locating key details and specific information from the passage
- comprehending unknown vocabulary in a passage
- understanding the author's purpose, tone, and attitude
- making inferences and drawing conclusions from a passage
Like the actual exam, there are questions on both short and longer passages.
Exam SAM's unique study system gives you in-depth focus on just the paragraph comprehension part
of the ASVAB exam, letting you perfect the skills in the areas that students find the most
troublesome on this part of the test.
