Bella incisione su rame di grandi dimensioni del 1770 circa tratta dalla famosa Enciclopédie de Diderot & D'Alembert. L'incisione rappresenta fortificazioni militari turche. L'enciclopedia delle arti e dei mestieri di Diderot e D'alembert è un importante opera di riferimento per scoprire le arti ed i mestieri del XVIII secolo. La prima edizione risale al 1751 quando fu pubblicato il primo volume. L'opera continuò ad uscire per anni fino a raggiungere i 17 volumi di articoli scritti dai più autorevoli studiosi del tempo: Voltaire, Rousseau, D'Alembert, Marmontel solo per citarne qualcuno. Le planches vennero alla luce 11 anni dopo la prima edizione dell'enciclopedia, dal 1762 fino al 1772 raggiungendo gli 11 volumi. Da ciò consegue la difficile reperibilità dell opera completa. The encyclopaedia of arts and jobs by Diderot and D'alembert is an important work of reference to discover arts and jobs in XVIII century. The first volume of the first edition was published in 1751. The work continued to be published until it got the 17 volumes of articles written by the most important scholars of that time: Voltaire, Rousseau, D'Alembert, Marmontel just to cite some of them. The planches began to sort out 11 years after the first edition of the Encyclopaedia, from 1762 to 1772 until getting to 11 volumes. That's why it is very difficult to find a complete encyclopaedia of Diderot.

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the the last good or the last lot or piece.

Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
