TENTH EDITION 1824. On page 38 there is a note at the foot: "BRESLAW, the CONJURER, who like the modern INGLEBY, some years ago amused the metropolis with his surprising slight of hand tricks", (see image). Small 8vo, approximately 170 x 100 mm, 6¾ x 3¾ inches, pages: vi, [3], 10-71, red roan spine, marbled boards, engraved bookplate of Thomas Bartlett on first pastedown and his signature and date in old ink to top of first free endpaper. Spine rubbed and scuffed with damage to head and tail, pastedowns and endpapers have pale foxing, occasional turning crease, otherwise a good copy. First published in 1768.
