"Determining and correlating appropriate drug nomenclature is increasingly important because of the availability of new drugs, marketing of established drugs by multiple manufacturers or distributors, coverage for reimbursement purposes by various private and governmental insurance and welfare programs, alterations in both prescribing and dispensing practices, increased emphasis on aspects of adverse reactions, and other similar considerations. Consequently, this publication by the American Pharmaceutical Association is intended to provide-on an updated and greatly expanded basis-the same type of drug name information available earlier." This book has 192 pages.
