Item description from seller

xvii+461; main problem is periodic blocks of light pencil marginalia, easily erasable with patience but some perhaps of value, small gilt ownership label top front pastedown, outer sides of endpapers have tanning strip along outer edge off-set from jacket wraparounds, black cloth covers clean and unworn. The jacket is odd being of brown paper with only a number 1619 (also bottom spine), author surname and title towards top front, I have seen similar jackets to other re-issues by the same publisher, clean but some slight creasing top back and a few edge chips & nicks (will add protective sleeve when ordered). Covers period up to Kimball Young and the Murphys (i.e. 1931-ish). Very uncommon.
