MORE PROBLEMS DO NOT ALWAYS MEAN MORE LEARNING.
A great workbook is defined not by how many problems it contains, but by how much students learn from each one.
ONE AMC 8 PROBLEM. A COMPLETE LEARNING PATH.
Each carefully selected AMC 8 problem is transformed into purposefully designed Guided Steps that follow the thinking path students need to reach the solution:
Understand the Key Idea → Discover the Connection → Solve the AMC 8 Problem
By completing these Steps, students learn the concepts, reasoning, and strategies behind the problem—not just the final answer.
WHY THIS METHOD WORKS
• Guided Steps show students how to begin and what to think about next
• Each Step builds the concepts and reasoning needed to solve the original AMC 8 problem
• The Steps lead naturally to the solution while developing independent problem-solving skills
• Exceptionally detailed explanations show how the solution works and why
MORE THAN A COLLECTION OF PAST PROBLEMS
AMC 8 problems published since 2020 are organized using Concept Flow Design (CFD)—not by contest year or original problem number, but as a connected learning path in which each problem naturally prepares students for the next.
This volume develops:
Combinations • General Counting • Probability
Follow the Steps. Understand the Concept. Solve with Confidence.
