In addition to the calendar for the year, the almanac includes a variety of readings and notices. The latter include a list of the annual meetings of the Friends; vacations at Harvard; times and places for various courts held in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut; and roads from Boston to the principle towns on the continent, "with the names of those who keep houses of entertainment."
