Tasks that once required hours of manual effort-estimating quantities, updating schedules, generating reports, organizing project documentation, and tracking project performance-can now be completed faster, more accurately, and with significantly less administrative burden.Yet many construction professionals remain unsure where to start. With so much hype surrounding AI, it can be difficult to separate practical solutions from unrealistic promises. Project managers, estimators, coordinators, contractors, and construction leaders often know that automation has the potential to improve productivity, but struggle to understand how to implement it effectively within real-world construction workflows.AI-Powered Construction Workflows provides a practical roadmap for applying artificial intelligence and automation technologies to everyday construction management processes.Rather than focusing on futuristic concepts, this book concentrates on proven strategies that professionals can use immediately to streamline operations, reduce repetitive work, improve decision-making, and increase project efficiency. Whether you manage commercial, residential, infrastructure, industrial, or specialty construction projects, you'll discover how AI can become a valuable tool for enhancing performance across the project lifecycle. From preconstruction planning through project closeout, this guide demonstrates how intelligent automation can support estimating, scheduling, documentation management, progress tracking, communication, and reporting.
