Paperback. Have you ever wondered how much more effective your teaching could become if you had an intelligent assistant available whenever you needed to plan a lesson, develop learning resources, support struggling students, or evaluate progress? What if you could spend less time wrestling with repetitive preparation and more time doing what truly matters-teaching, connecting, encouraging, and helping students succeed?AI-Enhanced Teaching with Claude by Jeffrey J. Wiggins explores practical ways educators can use Claude to bring greater efficiency, creativity, structure, and responsiveness to everyday teaching. But is this really about letting artificial intelligence teach for you? Absolutely not. Instead, what if AI could become a thoughtful support system that helps you make better decisions while keeping your professional judgment, experience, and understanding of your students at the center?Could lesson planning become more purposeful without becoming more complicated? Could you develop engaging instructional materials without starting from a blank page every time? Could you adapt explanations for different learning needs, generate useful classroom activities, create meaningful practice opportunities, and refine your teaching strategies with greater speed? This book invites you to explore how Claude can help make these possibilities practical. What happens when you approach AI not as a replacement for the educator, but as a tool for extending your capabilities? How might your preparation change if you could brainstorm lesson ideas, transform complex concepts into clearer explanations, organize instructional objectives, and create differentiated learning experiences through carefully designed prompts? And what about students who need something different? What if one learner needs additional practice while another is ready for greater challenge? How can technology help you provide more personalized support without turning your workload into an impossible balancing act? This book examines practical approaches for using Claude to assist with student support while encouraging educators to remain thoughtful about accuracy, context, privacy, academic integrity, and responsible AI use.Could assessment become more useful than simply assigning grades? What if you could use AI-assisted workflows to develop questions, examine patterns in student responses, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas where additional instruction may be needed? The goal is not merely to work faster-it is to teach with greater intention and insight.Whether you are an experienced educator exploring AI for the first time, a teacher seeking more efficient preparation methods, an instructional professional developing resources, or an educator curious about responsible classroom applications, this book offers a practical perspective grounded in real teaching needs. Are you ready to rethink what your teaching workflow could look like? Are you ready to discover where Claude can save time, spark ideas, strengthen preparation, and support better learning experiences?Open the book, experiment with new possibilities, and discover how AI can become a practical partner in your teaching practice.
