Ilustrado em extratexto com excelentes reproduções executadas pela Neogravura de retratos do autor, pinturas da autoria de Columbano, Eduardo Malta, António Carneiro, de fotografias que documentam as diversas épocas da sua vida e as suas actividades e com um fac-símile de uma carta de Afrânio Peixoto. Exemplar de uma tiragem de 600, com leves desgastes superficiais de manuseamento na encadernação. Preserva as capas e a lombada da brochura. Contém 21 textos que documentam as fases da vida do escritor e estudam diversos aspectos da sua obra. Vieira da Natividade, Acácio de Calazans Duarte e Afrânio Peixoto cuja colaboração ocupa as dez páginas finais. Afonso Lopes Vieira (Leiria, 1878 - Lisboa, 1946). Notável escritor e poeta português, um dos primeiros representantes do Neogarretismo, e ligado ao Integralismo Lusitano, bem como ao movimento designado por Renascença Portuguesa. Publicou cerca de 60 obras desde 1898 a 1947, e numerosa colaboração em diversos jornais e revistas. A sua obra em prosa e verso é multifacetada, mas dominada pela recuperação e defesa dos valores da cultura e da língua portuguesa. Escreveu diversas obras sobre Gil Vicente, Jorge de Montemor, Camões, Francisco Rodrigues Lobo, obras para crianças, escreveu argumentos para um filme infantil e para o filme Camões de Leitão de Barros. Em política viu o seu poema - Ao soldado Desconhecido ser apreendido, em 1921, por conter críticas a Afonso Costa e distanciou-se do Estado Novo, conforme a visão original do Integralismo Lusitano, no seu livro, Éclogas de Agora, de 1935, que publicou em edição restrita de autor. Começou por ser ateu, mas em 13 de Outubro de 1917 assistiu ao Milagre do Sol, na sua casa de S. Pedro de Moel, por isso converteu-se, foi um dos primeiros Servitas de Fátima e em 1929, escreveu a letra do Avé de Fátima. Legou a sua casa para nela ser instalada uma instituição de saúde para os filhos dos operários vidreiros da Marinha Grande e a sua biblioteca foi doada à Câmara Municipal de Leiria. 32x25 cm. 267, [ii], 10 pp. Full leather binding, raised bands and very elaborate and beautiful blind tools, on the spine, and on the boards where they form a frame, with a wide square in it, with vegetalist motifs and bordered by double fillets. Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Livraria Castro e Silva, Lisboa, Portugal, +351 213467380, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
