First we have a "powerful and inspiring novel that has guided hundreds of thousands of people and given them strength and comfort," (a 12-year-old Glenfiddich single malt usually does the same thing for me); followed by the story of an ex-infantryman stationed in Budapest and involved in "a project that could change the course of history"; after which we join with a young couple enjoying "the enduring, many-colored fabric of a marriage"; all of which concludes with a follow-up to the bestselling 'The Amboy Dukes,' this new one being "a powerful story which shows how far a man can go in the path of brutality and sordidness in a world where he feels himself a stranger and afraid"(a situation which might be helped a little by that 12-year-old Glenfiddich thing). All books are intact, but since they're all vintage paperbacks. it might be wise to handle them carefully anyway, out of respect for the medium if nothing else. Sorry, but no substitutions. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall.
