The failure point stems from inconsistent financial discipline. The AEC Project Controls Playbook, authored by strategic financial leader and retired US Marine Percy M. Williams, offers a battle-tested blueprint to bridge the gap between technical execution and profitable results.Drawing on over 20 years of experience at firms like AECOM, RRC Power & Energy, and Stellix, Williams provides a "front-line" guide to protecting margins, sustaining healthy projects, and navigating the unique financial risks of the AEC and Life Sciences industries. Why The AEC Project Controls Playbook is EssentialThe AEC industry is notoriously unforgiving, with tight budgets and mission-critical cash flow. This playbook is designed for Accountants, Project Managers, and Finance Leaders who are ready to move beyond paper profits and achieve true financial command. The AEC Project Controls Playbook addresses the most persistent industry challenges, including Profit Fade and Margin Erosion, Cash Flow Volatility, and Chronic PM Turnover. Success in AEC isn't just about spreadsheets; it's about people. The book introduces a leadership framework: Character, Competence, Courage, and Communication. The book also explores the practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in project controls. Williams argues that while AI can automate financial discipline, it cannot replace the "High-Road Leadership" required to inspire human commitment and ethical decision-making.Whether you are a seasoned executive or an aspiring project manager, the AEC Project Controls Playbook provides the actionable insights needed to safeguard profitability, optimize cash flow, and deliver projects with precision and predictability. AEC professionals often struggle due to weak financial controls and inconsistent financial discipline. The Playbook offers a battle-tested blueprint for bridging the gap between technical execution and profitable results. This item is printed on demand.
