The AC joint connects the clavicle (collarbone) and the acromion (part of the shoulder blade). This joint is essential for shoulder stability and function, especially during overhead activities, pressing movements, and lifting. When the AC joint is injured, whether due to trauma, overuse, or degeneration, it can significantly impact daily tasks, exercise routines, and athletic performance. If you are struggling with AC joint pain, this book provides a step-by-step guide to safely progress through rehabilitation, return to regular activities, and regain comfort and strength in your shoulder. "AC Joint Pain Playbook: Safe Progressions for Pressing, Carrying, and Overhead Comfort" is designed to help you manage your pain, improve your mobility, and build strength in a controlled, gradual manner. With simple routines, safe progressions, and practical tips, this guide empowers you to return to pressing, carrying, and lifting overhead without discomfort. In "AC Joint Pain Playbook", you will discover: Recognizing the Symptoms of AC Joint Injury: Understanding the symptoms of AC joint pain is essential for managing and treating the condition effectively. This section discusses the common symptoms, such as pain at the top of the shoulder, tenderness around the AC joint, and limited range of motion. Recognizing these signs early can help you start recovery sooner and prevent further damage.Diagnosis and Treatment Options: AC joint pain can range from mild discomfort to severe injury. This section explains how healthcare professionals diagnose AC joint issues through physical exams, imaging tests, and other assessments. You'll also learn about treatment options, including physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, and in severe cases, surgical intervention.Pain Management and Acute Care: Managing pain in the early stages of AC joint injury is essential for proper recovery. This section covers acute pain management techniques such as ice therapy, rest, and over-the-counter pain relievers. You'll also learn about more advanced treatments, like steroid injections, that can help reduce inflammation and provide relief during the recovery process.Safe Progressions for Shoulder Movements: Gradual movement progression is critical for ensuring that you don't exacerbate the injury. This section provides progressive exercises designed to restore range of motion, reduce stiffness, and rebuild strength without risking further strain on the AC joint. You'll learn the appropriate order and intensity of exercises to follow to safely move from gentle movements to more challenging exercises.Strengthening the Shoulder Muscles: Strengthening the muscles around the shoulder is key to stabilizing the AC joint and improving overall function. This section includes targeted shoulder strengthening exercises such as resistance band exercises, dumbbell presses, and rotator cuff exercises that will help support the AC joint and prevent future injuries.Whether you are recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic discomfort, or simply looking to prevent future issues, this book provides the tools, exercises, and expert advice to help you regain strength, mobility, and comfort in your shoulder.Get your copy of this book today and take control of your shoulder health, so you can ret Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
