About the Author: James A. Conard studied Psychology at the University of Kansas. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biblical Studies from Calvary University in Kansas City, Missouri, and a Master of Divinity from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He is a husband, father of three children, and has five grandchildren. He is a retired pastor, having served in four churches both in the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest.Vicky Hartzler is a lifelong farmer, former high school teacher and business owner who served as the U.S. Representative for Missouri's Fourth Congressional District from 2011 to 2023. She also served as the Missouri State Representative for the 124th district from 1995 to 2001. She is a wife, mother, and active member of her church.
