Raised amidst the rolling farmland of Valatie, NY, Scott J. Clauss learned early on to listen-to both the earth beneath his feet and the echoes of old stories carried on the wind. Scott's journey eventually took him overseas in the Army, where he met his wife, and later to the Pacific Northwest to build a life rooted in family and community. Along the way, pockets of uncanny experiences-fleeting shadows, whispers of distant voices-would intersect with his day-to-day, never overtaking his sense of reason yet lingering long afterward.
