The inspiration for writing about Bob and Jim's adventures came from routine discussions with the author and her young daughter about what animals would do if they could talk and explore human adventures. After driving by a local farm with horses almost every day and making up stories about them, Bob and Jim were born. Each story blends humor, heart, and a gentle reminder that adventure is everywhere…especially when looking at the world through the eyes of children.
