Synopsis
A young man in Poland suffered through one of the most horrific events in human history and eventually became the father-in-law I never met. Although deceased, he is a presence in our home every day. I was determined to understand how this man created such a bond with his son, my husband. I discovered a messy life well lived and the power of example. I discovered gratitude for that example. There are mysteries that may never be known but what is laid bare is inspiring.

About the Author
Retired from teaching history at the middle school level. Moved to Florida with my husband, Daniel, to enjoy the outdoors. I had previously lived in Scottsdale, Arizona, for fifty-five years. My husband and I started a paranormal research group named Daytona Beach Paranormal Investigators. I have a wonderful son, Stephen, who lives with his wife, Glorianne, and their beautiful children in Wilmington, North Carolina. My first book was a work of love and effort to truthfully explain a murder of my friend and explore the bias that was present during the trial.My second book is a biography of the father-in-law I never met who endured horrific circumstances but lived his best life.
