Van B. Choat is a Vietnamese-American author whose life has been shaped by war, resilience, and hope. After arriving in America as a refugee following the fall of Saigon in 1975, she built a distinguished 32-year career as a federal civil servant, retiring as a senior contracting executive before pursuing her lifelong dream of writing. She is the author of Undaunted: A Memoir and the creator of the Lake Travis Dragon Series, inspired by the beauty, history, and legends of the Texas Hill Country.
