Synopsis

What if a wolf came scratching at your door... not for trouble—but for spaghetti?

One moonlit night, Tynan, Casey, and Jordan hear a mysterious scratching sound outside their house. At first, they're a little nervous. But when Dad opens the door, they discover something completely unexpected—a friendly wolf with a very unusual appetite!

Instead of huffing and puffing, this hungry visitor wants only one thing:

Spaghetti.

Filled with laughter, family warmth, and a touch of bedtime magic, The Wolf Who Liked Spaghetti is a delightful picture book that teaches children not to judge others by appearances and reminds us that kindness can lead to wonderful surprises.

Perfect for read-aloud time, bedtime, and family story hours, this charming adventure is the first book in The Hungry Wolf Adventures series by Jay B. Greene.

  • Perfect for children ages 4–8
  • Great for bedtime and classroom reading

You never know who might come scratching at your door... or what they might be hungry for.

A Note from the Author
A few readers have wondered whether a story about a friendly wolf might give young children the idea that wild animals are safe to approach.
That isn’t the lesson I intend.
The wolf in this story is a fictional character. Although he is friendly and hungry for spaghetti, children should never assume that a wild animal is safe to approach. Always treat wild animals with caution and respect.
My stories are meant to be shared between children and the adults who read them. They offer parents and grandparents a chance to enjoy the adventure with their children and, when appropriate, talk about the difference between the imaginary world of a story and the real world around us.
In the Hungry Wolf Adventures, the wolf may be friendly—but real wild animals should always be given their space.
Sincerely,
Jay B. Greene
