From here, we mourn or pray the prayer of forgiveness, which is symbolically revealed in The Lord’s Prayer. As we begin this path, meekness becomes the practice of mental nonviolence and leads us to hunger and thirst for righteousness where we follow THE LAW to ITS conclusion and come to realize we must release everyone from our judgment of guilt. From here, the merciful obtain mercy and become the pure in heart or a mind in a state of innocence. Finally, having faced the fear within our own mind, we understand why we will be persecuted for righteousness’ sake. A mind in a state of guilt fears innocence and will attack it in the name of self-defense. However, being a Child of God, we are the thought as God thought it and willingly embrace The Sacrifice.
