In the second fantasy, The Color People: Book 2, Bernie Crosses the Colorful Line, brave and curious Bernie goes on a forbidden journey so far away from his home in Color Land that he loses his way. He finds himself in an unusual and fabulous distant land where he meets people he never knew existed and is amazed by the incredible things he sees and learns. Bernie learns the true origin of rainbow people and longs to return home and share the wonderful story of an extraordinary and harmonious land.
The Color People fantasy books are wonderful and engaging tools for parents, teachers, or anyone who is a guardian of or works with children. These stories help children learn and practice acceptance and respect. When we teach children, and as they learn, oftentimes they help others learn. As a child, I envisioned a world where all people, regardless of their color or differences, could live in peace. What I believe is the impartation of grace from a Higher Source, that childhood dream, and later a precious gift--my son, was inspiration to write these universally appealing children's stories.
These fantasy books are enjoyable to read and have eye-catching illustrations that will entertain and delight children of all cultures while helping to promote fellowship and inclusion and embrace diversity in all people and cultures. For ages 6-10; however, children of all ages and adults enjoy and are inspired by these meaningful and thought-provoking stories.
